Medicine and luxury
Through Lovja, medicine met the world’s first luxury medical product.
In luxury, meanwhile, the object was always something put on and taken off. By integrating luxury directly into the body, Lovja brought that industry an entirely new approach as well.
This is the point at which the human face ceases to be a biological subject and becomes a reflective work of architecture.

The idea
16:30. The second year of the pandemic, at home. An idea chased for years but always left underneath came to the surface: to liquefy light on the tooth — to gather the reflection across the whole surface rather than at a single point. Its first form was Ceramirr.
Ceraface joins the research
A second direction followed shortly after: instead of liquefying the light, breaking and scattering it. The logic of gemstone cutting began moving onto the tooth surface.
The pandemic
The World Health Organization declared the pandemic on 11 March 2020 and ended the international emergency on 5 May 2023. Laboratory work, patient application and material trials were interrupted throughout — which is why development ran into 2024.
LOVJA R&D
A year and a half in the laboratory: surface geometry, facet direction, flow of the curve and polish. The cutting patterns came out of this period; none of it reached a patient until the first case.
First case — unannounced
The method was placed in a patient for the first time. It was not announced. Disclosing an invention before filing would have destroyed its novelty, so the case stayed quiet for a year and a half.
The company was founded
Lovja Ağız ve Diş Sağlığı Hizmetleri Ticaret Anonim Şirketi was entered in the Turkish trade registry. The method stopped being personal research and gained a legal identity: every step after this — the patent application, production, the partner clinic network — ran under that roof. The company was founded eighteen days after the pandemic ended.
The patent application
PCT/TR2024/050479. The invention: a monolithic crown or veneer prosthesis carrying reflective flat surface portions.
First public announcement
The method was announced publicly for the first time — one day after the filing. That is why the two markers all but overlap on the axis.
First experimental Ceracon
Published
The application was published as WO 2025/239842 A1 and became public. See the record.
Preliminary examination positive
The WIPO preliminary examination was positive on all claims and the application entered the national phase.
Dr. Atakan Elter
Prosthodontist, founder of Lovja.
He developed the Ceraface cutting patterns — known publicly as diamond cut veneers — the Ceramirr surface people call pearly white, and Ceracon, which brings the two together on a single surface. Inventor of all three models and of the surface technique behind them.
